Dr. Dewan's work has caught the attention of Hollywood. Her book "Cutting A Path" has been optioned for a television series, and "Sita: Tigress of Ranthambore" has been optioned for a feature film.

Dr. Dewan is working with producer Janice Park, founder of Vuja De and former VP of Scripted Programming at Onyx Collective, a Disney General Entertainment content brand. Janice has overseen acclaimed projects including The Plot, Reasonable Doubt, and The Other Black Girl, and has developed TV and feature film projects at Amazon, Apple, Hulu, HBO, Netflix, and Universal.
